My backlog of bottles is nearly depleted at this point, thanks to the quarantine. Remember my analogy with an unraveling sweater when it came to Stone Brewing? Now, the same thing is happening in regards to Bottles! This is one of a few odds & sods that have materialized as I redd up here at Chez Woody. Frankly, I will not be at all saddened when the last bottle is emptied, rinsed & set out for recycling.
From the Bottle: "[brut*al dry*P*A]; "Brut IPA [India pale ale]".
There was some flocculate visible on the kick/punt so when I Pop!ped the cap, I followed it with an extremely slow, gentle C-Line pour into the awaiting glass. It still worked in my favor, forming two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, bone-white head with very good retention. Color was a gorgeous Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5) with NE-quality clarity & I was joined by The Gelt Gang of Midas, Croesus & Mammon who were in my living room, watching a replay of the 1981 MLB All-Star Game! Nose was very light, sort of crackery with an almost vanilla-like sweetness. Hmm. Mouthfeel was thin-to-medium, not watery, but not far beyond it, either. The taste was very light, malt driven with a light grassy bitterness. Finish was dry, but I was not thinking of it as an Ale. Instead, it seemed like a very dry Lager. Hmm. YMMV.

5 oz pour on tap at The Hideaway. Pours a clear, effervescent straw yellow with very little head. Aroma and flavor offer not much of anything, maybe a hint of citrus and bready malt. Mouthfeel is slightly spritzy. Better than some Brut IPAs I've had but nothing I'd seek out again.

Hell yeah! It looks like I will be the first to review this beer. Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, citrus. Taste is full of citrus, tart, dry with mild bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.
