Good IPA, but surpassed by their Lot No 6. Still very good beer.

Dark orange amber in color. Fairly clear in appearance. Malty. Grapefruit, hints of orange and pine. Medium bodied. Eh, it's so so. More old school malt driven ipa.

I normally only read, not write, reviews so this will be amateurish but this beer deserves to have more than one review .
It poured a medium amber with a very generous head when poured straight down the middle in a Samuel Adams glass. The head held for a good bit then left nice lacing. (this was a bottle; sounds like the cask version did not hold as well based on the other review) The aroma and taste has the citrusy hoppy bite that is characteristic of American IPA's. The hoppiness holds from start to finish with just enough malt to balance resulting in a refreshing drink. I should note that I'm an American IPA fan and this is up there with my favorites like Weyerbacher Double Simcoe and Founders AllDay IPA but manages to pleasantly put the ABV between the two. The BA Brothers need to find this.
