September 10th, 2016 - Second beer for the special beer day is Ballat Point's Table beer. Will this be like a grisette? It's clear and light, looking much like the French beer I fell in love with. The aroma is stronger though, more herbal than a grain bouquet, with smells of wheat. Additional checks reveal orange and honeysuckle as well. The flavor is quote mild, revealing lemon and wheat grains in the mid-taste, with a long, dwindling and echoing aftertaste of anise and pepper. Lovely and light.

Very light yellow with almost no head.
Light Belgian yeast of the fruity ester-y variety and citrus hops.
Thin, light malt body. Faint citrus hops with fruity yeast backup and light bitterness.
Thin bodied with light carbonation.
It's a pleasant and refreshing light Belgian ale.
