Pours a pale light yellow with a hazy obscurity to the transparency. Head is one finger of white foam. Aroma is pine, citrus, crackers, wafers, and nutty malts. Flavor profile is herbal, citrus, and pine hops paired with crackers, wafers, and nutty malts. Sweet start that turns dry at the finish. Mouth feel is crisp, but finishes soft. Consistency is thin. Overall, hops are playful, but sparce. Dry finish is pleasant.
Served from a 12oz can. Reviewed from notes. Noted Dec 16th, 2021, just found it in my notebook (Dec 19th, 2024.)

Forgettable. What were they trying to do here?
Part of a 24 mix-pack case at Costco, which features Sculpin, Grapefruit Sculpin, an Amber Ale, and this, all at a price point which could not be ignored.
If you put me on a desert island and said that I could have one beer of each style forever, the GF Sculpin is my IPA pick.
Knowing that, I grabbed two cases, and also noticed two days later that the entire pallet was gone when I went back ...
This is an off color looking pale, thin mouthfeel, barely hopped lager or something. I don't like Lager style, so that might be part of it. "Wee Gus"? I've spent time in Scotland, but the Scots don't brew anything this bad. I drank two during lunch the other day and I had a headache that afternoon.
Who did the make this for?

Most confusing beer I’ve had in a while. Thin bodied with an odd dusty malt taste, wnag the hell is a wee Gus?
This brewery produces legendary stuff but this is a one and done.

If a Session IPL existed (happy it doesn't), that is where this beer fits. Super thin bodied, funky hop profile (which I really think contains Lemondrop), and chalky mouthfeel...
Easy to say I won't be repeating.
