Opaque, with a dark tan head. Very Strong roasty nose, and flavor. A super silky mouth-feel (or is it milky, from the added lactose), and big roast malt body, with just enough hop balance.

Draft at Bardenay (also had this at Spacebar recently)... Thick but not overly done for 7.6%... Roasty, a little ashy for my liking... Lactose helps bloom the chocolate maltiness.. slick and coating.. pretty good drinkablity.

On tap at Payette Black Friday 2015. A solid milk stout, adding a nice break from the BBA imperial stouts that dominate the event. Milk sweetness and a silky, slippery body add to the nice chocolaty notes present throughout.
