Taster pour at SRB taproom. Dark brown pour, clear, fine ring of head. Malty aroma with light smoky notes . Taste is ashy, campfire, light sweetness. (4/21/24)

On-tap at the brewery. Nearly opaque black in the glass with red highlights and a minimal head. This is a tasty little black lager, the smoke character is present but mild and not overpowering. There is some nice malt presence, typical breadiness and light nuttiness and some dark chocolate as well, but this isn't very sweet, its a very quaffable, lightly-smoked black lager.
