Pint on draft at 99 (duh) in Fairhaven, Mass. Served in a chilled mug. Kind of a bobo move, but it's the 99.
Appearance: Clear copper with a one-finger eggshell head.
Aroma: Some fruity hops and a little pine. Somewhat floral.
Taste: Follows the nose. Tasty, refreshing APA. A little hop stickiness, at least to me.
Mouthfeel: Standard. Pleasant.
Overall: Very solid APA. Better than the chain where it serves as the house beer. Nothing wild, but a solid brew to pair with a burger.

Had this at a local '99 Restaurant. Not sure what it is with nearly every beer I try fro Wachusett but they always seem to taste 'old' or past prime. This one is no different.

On-tap 10/10/2015 at Pub 99, in North Attleboro, MA served in a mug glass.
A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a large white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma is faint but contains caramelized malts, some grassy hops and some fruit.
T: The taste starts out with a mild burst of pale grassy hops bitterness. Then some sweetness comes in from citrus, caramel and other fruits. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and brings some balance. The after-taste is slightly hoppy and slightly bready.
M: Crisp and a little smooth but a bit watery, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: A little tasty, goes down ok, not too filling, mild kick, decent representation of style, this is just a mediocre beer at best.
