12oz can, sample from the brewery.

Perfect clarity within the pale golden hued brew. Big head to start, sticky lacing to down the glass. Very clean nose, very aromatic herbal hops with a cracker and bread-like malty smell. Crisp dry malt character throughout, lighter bodied and very refreshing. True too style and extremely drinkable. I'm wanting a liter at a time ...

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. Sampled on July 28, 2016.

It pours yellow, carbonated, and leading up to a short-lived white head.

Sweetness would be the main word to define the aroma. I do get some toasted pale malts, some grass, but otherwise this has a more notable sweetness. Although it also has some toasty Pilsener qualities to it.

Light to medium body. Reasonably smooth.

The sugar sweetness tends to take the whole beer over in the taste but I still get a more mellow toasted bread and grain character and a mild grassy hop bitterness to finish. But "sweet" is the take away description.

On-tap 6/28/2016 at Doherty’s East Ave Irish Pub in Pawtucket, RI, served in a tapered pint glass.

A: The beer is a light gold color, with a thin white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains light caramelized malts, grain and a faint touch of hops.

T: The taste starts out with a mild malt sweetness followed by some grain and lager yeast breadiness. The malt character is thin; the hops presence is very mild and there is not much balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly bready.

M: Not very crisp and not very smooth, light-to-medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: Not very tasty, goes down ok, not too filling, mild kick, not a good representation of style, Wachusett has produced some beers that I really like and drink often but this is not one of them.

16 oz at pint night. Tall thick head, minimum lacing, golden color with richness for a lager, smell is not strong. Taste is nice for a lager or is it a Pilsner? Tart, clean faint hops. Nice on the tongue, certainly not thin. Overall it's a nice lager trending towards the IPA taste profile.

Appearance: This one pours a clear golden pale straw color with a two finger foamy bright white head that leaves behind good lacing.

Aroma: Pale malts, faint lemon zest, floral hop with a light dryness in the nose. Some faint spice towards the back end.

Taste: A floral hop bite in the front but it smooths out. Pale malts, Floral hop, lemon zest, grassy, wisps of grain all through it.

Notes: This offering is a good example of a German Pilsner crushable and quite refreshing. Cheers.
