From a bottle - no date to be found on the bottle or the packaging. I know it's fresh though - first of this year's batch. Pours a lovely amber color with a short lived head. Not much happening in the aroma department though. Tastes better than I remember - fresh baked bread, caramel - perfect level of sweetness. It's actually quite good this year and seems more robust than I remember. Easy drinking at 4.8% ABV, yeah, I could have a couple of these with no problem.

Draft has a good dark reddish color, head disappeared aquickly though, with 3/4 of beer left in stein. Very smooth, minimal smell

Tasty, and golden indeed. The first in a series of three Wachusett beers. Enough character to inspire a hearty flow of laughs and conversation (sorely needed these days), but light enough not to be overbearing.

Poured from 12 ounce bottle, not dated
Orange gold color with almost no head. Amber?
Fruity pine and caramel malt on the nose. Hops taste to me to be Cascade and Northern Brewer hops
Nicely carbonation, this would be great if it was straight out of a cask and dry hopped
Tastes good, but lacks something, as if the 3 college buddy brewers are too scared to offend
Its a good, easy drinking ale, in between a pale and an amber. At $1.50 for 12 oz. this was good value
Almost there

12-oz bottle 11/15/18 needed a strong pour for a short lived egg shell white head, fizzy and foamy with large and small bubbles, spots of lacing. Clear new penny copper color appears yellow-amber in front of light.
Faint aroma of roasted malt, yeast and few herbal hops.
Taste is light, roasted and caramel malts with baked apple and pear to start, at its sweetest during the middle. Drys and bitters a little during the quick clean finish, an astringent aftertaste lingers. Warms well, a little more pronounced flavor appears.
Fizzy carbonated feel, light body. Not very "Red", light on taste and smell and a little watery.
On the plus side; inexpensive, not too bitter or sweet, faint hops per style, enjoyable.

Pours a clear amber, leaves a fizzy white head that had decent retention
Smells very pleasing, hints of apple, a splash of grapefruit hops, with some fruity yeast.
The taste was very suprising, has a fair apple flavor to it, some honey, the malts are fairly subtle and the hops are so light to as not be there. This is sweeter than most beers I've tried, but doesn't turn me off in the slightest.
Light bodied, light carbonation, crisp finish.
I would certainly drink this again, would help quell the summer's heat.
