Presentation: A very simple, old style label on a 12 oz. bottle with a clearly marked freshness date.

Appearance: Cloudy, caramel-copper in colour with a thin white lace ring of a head.

Smell: Spicey.

Taste: A smooth, rich, sweet malt flavour packed with dried spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, corriander, maybe some orange peel?). A sliver of bitterness cuts its way through about half-way, with some tiny carbonation sensations, finishing sweet.

Notes: This is a well balanced winter seasonal. The high malt off-sets the spices, and the bitterness keeps it from being sickly sweet. Very drinkable to the point where you would even consider having another one.
