Clear golden/amber color, pretty firm foam cap, looks nice in the glass. The hop flavor is tropical fruit more than citrus--I picked up guava and passion fruit with very little citrus bitterness. Nice silky body; beer goes down smoothly. Very enjoyable. Celebrate your favorite Masshole with a Mass Soul.

12 ounce can from a mixed 12 pack.
Appearance: slightly hazy honey color, nice 1” long lasting head with plenty of lacing.
Smell: predominantly a mild hoppy aroma with very subtle melon. No alcohol aroma.
Taste: initially mild hoppy taste proceeding to a sweet aftertaste.
Mouth Feel: finely carbonated, very smooth, on the thin side
Overall: a very drinkable beer and will purchase again.

12 oz can. 11/4/18
Straw golden color with copper highlights. A tower of pure white foam stands tall, 3" high. Slow dissipation. Excellent lacing.
The hops, man! They stank!! Ripe honeydew melon, pineapple bits, peppery wheat, lemmon zip and light, grainy golden malt that hits your nose hard. Citrus and caramel in subtle ways, give off a rather, fresh-hop style aroma.
Hop cone attack! Fresh, green, hoppy flavors really do pack a punch. Orange rind, pineapple, lemmon zest with green and herbal undertones. The crispy, sharp malty flavor and feel comes off very light and earthy with nice , golden field grain effects. The hops end dry and bitter which lingers.
Overall, complexity is medium to high with some sharp tones flavorwise. I'm usiallt pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoy Wachusett offerings.

The fruitiness works better in the smell than the taste. More specifically the aftertaste. Not bad, just not my cup of tea. Or, in this case, glass of beer.

Surprisingly good low cost NEIPA.
Nice and crispy, citrousy and piney. Great can design ( it did what it was supposed to, drew my attention when I wanted to try something "new" ).
