A 12 oz can from a mixed 12-pack.
Appearance: It poured a 1-1/2” head which quickly subsided and color was light golden.
Smell: Mild hoppy aroma. Not much else.
Taste: Hoppy. No alcohol taste.
Mouth Feel: Finely carbonated, smooth and thin.
Overall: This beer is what I expect from a session IPA and is very drinkable. I will drink again.

Got stuck with this in a mix pack. Looks like water, too much carb, tastes like something has gone horribly wrong. The first Wachusett I really dislike.

It's a 12 oz can. 11/9/18
Session IPA 4.5 % abv.
Well, it's a very nice golden color. Pretty much clear with streaming carbonation and a crystal white clumpy style foam top.
The hops have a very nice scent of: fruity pine, green hop cone, fresh herbals, mint leaves, corn husk and sharp citrus. Nice nose.
The mouthfeel is very fresh and crispy, jazzy and slightly dry in the finish.
The malt is seriously light, golden wheat and pilsner style malt feel and flavor's come to mind.
As a session style IPA the feel and flavor is lighter than most ipa's, as intended. The complexity of flavors are lower, but the drinkability is much higher. Pine sap, tangy citrus and orange rind hits me first from the hops, then the earth-style grains from the malt ride in, an easy transition to some lighter hop tones is seemless. Light, juicy fruits pop out as a dry, hut crisp effect happens in the finish.
Overall, this is a mighty fine example of an easy-breazy style IPA, plenty of interesting flavor and with that light, happy edge.
