Brought back and given the official name Beatnik Bohemian Pilsner.
Appearance: Lightly hazed with a soft, yellow hue. Half inch of white suds. Agreeable effervescence. Good lacing.
Smell: Pilsner malt, delicately bready, softly grainy with a bit of dried herb with an edge of spiciness to it and a whisper of honey.
Taste: Pils malt, lightly bready, with a faint honeyish tone imparting a mild, subtle sweetness. Light herb, clean bitterness. Drying, crisp, with a carryover of pilsner maltiness and grains on the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-plus carbonation.
Overall: Lovely. How someone could be determined to find ways to not enjoy it, I'll never know.

Pour: Golden but slighty hazed yellow, bubbly head
Nose: earthy malt an lightly grassy hops.
Mouth: well carbonated, nice but slight inbalance of the malts and hops, just off to the hoppy side, how could it be a bad thing? even lingers a bit. really tasty
Now just personal philosophy but i find that classic examples of Pils often seemed hampered by tradition ie one hop, one malt, low ABV, often coming off as little flat. however great american examples like this one and sweetwater's magnum IP have rejuvenated my hope for the genre

A light grassy aroma comes from the glass. Very inviting to the the nose.
Very mellow flavors of slightly sweetened doughy malt and earthy, more so grassy hops. I have an image of the Muppet's Swedish chef dropping dough on the ground and then using the batch regardless.
Crsip, clean finish. Light body with great carbonation. Very enjoyable as it warms even.

Pours a clear golden-straw color with a one-finger white head. The head recedes into a wispy layer on top leaving light lacing.
Smells of crisp pilsner malts with good amounts of earthy hops and slightly milder amounts of bready notes. As the beer warms the hops intensify a bit and the breadiness dissipates.
Tastes similar to how it smells, though not quite as robust. Pilsner malt flavors kick things off and are joined quickly by good amounts of earthy and slightly leafy hop flavors. Midway through the sip the hop flavors all but disappear, leaving the malt flavors and hop bitterness to carry through to a solidly bitter ending.
Mouthfeel is OK. It's got a nice thickness however the carbonation is on the heavy side.
Drinkability is good. I finished my glass without any problems and could have another.
Overall a very nice beer for the warmer months however I'd be more inclined to call it great if it weren't for the heavy-handed carbonation. Still, a tasty beer that's worth a shot.
