Appearance: Dark, obscured body, purple-ish in color, and underneath a very scant head.
Smell: As expected, a sweetish scent of blueberries.
Taste: Again, as expected, a sweetish taste of blueberries, but some lightly bready base malts come forth. Splash of semi-sweet iced tea. Remains sweetish and soundly berry-flavored through to the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Low carbonation.
Overall: A nice fruit ale, sure, but on cask, it's essentially still, leaving us all in need of some suds to provide some life and a bright, refreshing zip.
