Appearance: Lightly hued yellow, with a hazed body, and steady effervescence feeding an inch of compact white foam.
Smell: A small sniff of pils and wheat, a passing nosegay, and little elements of lemon and spice.
Taste: Seems to be a light blend of pils and wheat malt. Slightly sweet. Sweetness is quickly cut by accents of clove and star anise, then, but floral hints and some soft lemon. Modest bitterness. Drying and fairly crisp as you approach the finish with a lingering spiciness into the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-plus carbonation.
Overall: Fairly good, I always prefer the amply carbonated, relatively lighter ABV saisons.
