This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like roast, light smoke, sweet brandy, cherry, chocolate, oak, and tobacco.
This is fairly bitter as barrel aged stouts go, but the full body and creaminess help it stay drinkable. The cherry is light and adds a touch of mild sweetness. There’s lots of brandy, and it only adds a mild booziness. It’s very roasty, and slightly smoky, with lots of dark chocolate.
This is creamy and full, with a rich mouthfeel, and not too much boozy feel.
This is a nice little surprise. It was carefully put together, and the cherry wasn’t overwhelming.
