Bottle: Poured a cloudy dark brown color ale with a medium size foamy head with limited retention and not much lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt notes with some grainy notes and light dry fruits. Taste is a mix of light dry fruits notes with heavy caramelized sugar with too much residual sugar notes and a grainy aftertaste. Body is full with limited filtration and medium carbonation with light warming alcohol notes. Lacking attenuation and balance and I was not too fond of the grainy aftertaste.

This is a quadrupel that was pre-aged for 7 years before bottling. This bottle is 3 years old making it a total of 10 years old.
A: This pours a murky brown color, as is expected from a quadrupel. The head is a bit stronger than I anticipated for a 10 years old brew with decent retention with a crown not dying. Head is beige. Decent alcohol legs evidently but poor lacing.
S: Smell is a bit light but is very nice. You get a nutty flavor reminiscent of an English brown with light buttery diacetyl there but that fit well. There are the classic plum, dates and figs for the fruity notes. Sweet spiced bread and caramel. Very well done and the only reason I don't give a higher score is because the smell could be stronger.
T: Just like the smell, the taste is a bit light in power. But, it does follow the nose really well with the same blend of nutty and buttery notes, figs, dates and plums that are complimented by caramel and sweet spiced bread. The sweetness is absolutely not overpowering .
M: Medium to heavy with just a light tinge of carbonation to help with the weight. Really well done.
O: This is a really solid beer. I don't know if it's the super aging it had but it's really good and worth trying, especially since it can be found for under 10$.
