Ok - be advised that I'm reviewing a no-no. After several attempts, I find that Rye in beer doesn't thrill me. So this will be a personal review, as I know most really dig Dave's rye brews.
Semi-hazy golden amber brew, with a nice tan head topping. Then, that touch of rye intermixed with spicy hops in the aroma and the taste. The rye to me seems to push the brew to a woody and resinous side and adds a dry finish.
Overall, still drinkable and fairly tasty, but I'd much rather have the "plain" IPA. But be sure to give this a go if you into rye.
