New offering, a brew of advanced abv of 8.25%. Everything about this one was good, except for the price. Poured in a shaker pint, I expect to pay more for the bigger beer, but not double price of the other pints - bummer there. So one and done.

Anywhoo, a nice brew of opaque amber brown, frothy ivory head and good lacing. Classic malt and caramel aroma and taste, it ramps up with a sweet start but balanced out with just the right hop presence in the finish. Tasty brew with a tasty price.

Pours a cloudy, brown color. 1/5 inch head of an off-white color. Good retention and decent lacing. Smells of sweet malt, yeast, and slight hop. Fits the style of a Doppelbock. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong sweet malt, yeast, and slight hops. Overall, a cloying sweetness and a little lacking in yeast flavors.
