Look: a toasted amber; opaque through and through. Truly reminds one of pineapple juice that's oxidized. The head was lacking any structure, volume, or permanence gone almost immediately.
Smell: I would order again just to smell that tropical beauty. Notes of the ripest pineapple you've ever smelled.
Taste: here is where I was lost. Zero sweetness, heavy on the resin, the flavor sinking slowly down the throat and soaking in to your tongue like a wood stain. Very west coast.
Feel: given the opacity I expected something laden with milk sugar or some other agent that would make it creamy but no, aside from the bitter tinge of the ibu's there's nothing lasting about this, as lifht as a resinous ipa can be. Surprisingly high carbonation level, almost too much.
