A strong pour from a 16-oz. can into a 20-oz. mug yielded two fat fingers of creamy, long lasting off-white foam.
Dark amber-copper color, reddish amber in bright light. Chill haze fades to semi-clear, I can read large print.
Toasted bread and pumpkin greet the nose, faint with a hint of sweetness from canned pumpkin pie filling.
The taste is semi-sweet with low bitterness at first, lightly spiced with very faint citrus hops. Caramel malt is matched with the pumpkin sweetness and kept in check buy a drying wheat taste. A hint of apple and grape lurk behind the pumpkin. The finish is quick, tastes drop right off, only faint pie spice lingers briefly.
Medium bodied with plentiful carbonation, smooth and well balanced. Alcohol is hidden behind the spice. Great matchup of sweet against dry, perfect balance is the outcome. This Beer rates on the low side, but I think it has all the character of a quality Pumpkin Beer (Ale).

-I’ve had three of these ( over three weeks) and impressions have been consistent. A can pour with the color and cloud of fresh apple cider hosts a thin foam cap and a slightly tart aroma with a bit of allspice. There is a vegetable/pumpkin aspect in the flavor, some spice, a late sweetness and a slightly sour aspect, which like. The body is thin. The sweetness persists in the finish. This is “growing on me” a bit.

DATE: November 30, 2019... OCCASION: the Christmas tree secured and up, time to revisit the beer I took to Thanksgiving at Matt and Tiff's... GLASSWARE: Wychwood pint... pours a lively, dark amber orange body that explodes with large bubbles and a crackling, frothy off-white head that simmers to a quarter finger's worth... light cinnamon, nutmeg, pecan, crisp apple, and some caramel hints... this sips as its ABV states--a lager/ale hybrid, perhaps, with a refreshing yet thin consistency... despite its intimidating label, it's rather soft in the taste category, with cinnamon, apple, toffee sweetness, candied fruits, and a bit of nuttiness to it all... it aims to avoid "cloying," but in the process, avoids the flavor that makes autumn offerings the rich experience they often are... not a bad beer to enjoy Thanksgiving with, but not much of a stand-alone...

Pours hazy, orange-brown with 1/3 inch head. Taste is cinnamon, clove, light bread, and a plant like taste--green leaves. Goes down really easy. Good enough to keep me interested in the brewery, but not a pumpkin ale I would rush out for.

I am absolutely stunned Long Ireland company couldn't do a better job then this!! Very little pumpkin flavor and more of nutmeg. Taste of vanilla and other spices to make up the lack of Pumpkin flavor. Carbonate is low to almost flat. Taste slightly better at room temp then chilled.. I am brewing my own pumpkin beer and it taste better after only 2 weeks then this beer. Sorry guys. I love your other beers: ie: Celtics but this seasonal brew is clearly not one of your better Beers!!!!

Pours an amber/orange color with no clarity. A nose of muted pumpkin with slight spices.
Initial sip yields a rather earthy pumpkin flavor. Smooth and a bit robust with slight spices notes of cinnamon, vanilla, and nutmeg. This really seems to be aimed at a pure pumpkin flavor taste. I really get almost a pumpkin puree flavor. The finish is a bit malty and a tad off tasting. Mouth feel is a bit light and even watery at times.
Overall, I found the beer to be a bit below average for the style.

While this isn't the worlds best pumpkin beer it's a good "go to" pumpkin beer. A nice fall session beer.
