Bottle from the brewery.
Pours a slightly hazy reddish amber color with a tightly bubbled off white head that shows moderate retention and minimal lace. Aromas of toffee, oak tannins, sweet bourbon, a light bit of pitted fruit and a hint of chocolate. The flavor is sweet with sugary toffee that gets cut rather quickly with bourbon soaked cherries and plums. Light fruity sweetness with a bit of ethanol and wood melds nicely into the finish. Medium to thick body with a light to moderate level of carbonation and a light syrup and bubbly mouthfeel. Nice little sipper right here! I really enjoyed this one .
