Bottle from the Brewery
Pours a crystal clear light golden color with a decent sized bubbly bone white head that slowly dissipates to a cap on top. Aromas of grapefruit and pine with a solid bready caramel maltiness in the background. The flavor is solid caramel malty with plenty of earth, citrus, and pine. Light mineral notes and a hint of toffee round this one out. Moderate level of hop bitterness. Medium body and a moderate level of carbonation. That is a pretty damn good old school IPA. Reminds me a lot of what I remember Harpoon IPA to taste like if it had a hint of English in it. My meager palette would love if to revisited this beer.
