To be fair, I'm drinking this bottle 7 months later. So take my review with that in mind. Someone at work gave this to me to try. Just not a lot of flavor here, and a very strange aftertaste I can't place. Unless they brew a fresh batch, I cant recommend this.

Nose: a hint of fresh laundry, earthy, herbal hops. Brilliant gold with a stiff 1.5” finely bubbled off-white foam cap with a slight gold tint that slowly descends and produces very thick lace. Very creamy, malty herbal palate, with graham cracker and very faint oak tannins and vanilla. Not overly sweet. Fruit shows up in the middle with mild melon to a mild tropical fruit and a suspicion of apple. Hop bitterness on the finish is herbal and less citrus rind with a slight presence of tannin. Very creamy texture with fine soft carbonation. The beer is very well rounded with a nice interplay of texture and flavor with a Belgian texture bred with American IPA flavors.

Bottle from the brewery.
Pours a fairly clear deep golden color with a smallish bubbly white head that dissipates rather quickly. Aromas of resinous earthy pine offset with hints of apple, light sugar and woody notes. The tannins from the wood and the spice from the hop gives this an impression of cedar. The flavor is sweet sugary malt with hints of pomme fruit. Earthy spicy hop flavor combine with woody notes and a hint of brandy. Lingering hop and tannic bite long into the end of every sip. Medium to light body with a moderate level of carbonation. Very nice complex drinkable hoppy brew, I really enjoyed this one.
