Growler shared by Barleywinebrewer, thanks for the opportunity!
Pours a lightly hazy deep golden color with a smallish quickly dissipating off white head. Aromas of earthy pine and a bit of grass backed up by a solid shot of sweet bready caramel maltiness and just a twinge of ethanol. The flavor follows the aroma nicely, moderately resinous earthy bitter with a raw green hop grassiness. Big sweet malty bready caramel backbone holds it all together. Medium body and level of carbonation. Decent enough IPA, but some of the flavors seem a bit muddled and clashing. Id like to see a bit more dry hopping here and a few points lower in gravity to cut through some of the malty sweetness, maybe some simple sugars could work to take the gravity down a bit.
