Bottle from the Brewery.
Deep ruby brown color with a decent sized long lasting beige head. Big raisin plum prune fruitiness on the nose spattered with dark sugar and a wicked vanilla bourbon oakiness and faint spice. The flavor is lightly sugary sweet with big dried fruit flavors. Hints of cherry and chocolate come in before the bourbon treatment makes itself apparent with lots of oaky vanilla. Medium to thick body with a light to moderate level of carbonation and a sweet lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Holy shit thats good! I enjoyed sipping the heck of this most of the night.

From bottle no. 14 of 120 date October 2014. Sampled on December 10, 2014
Lovely dark brown pour with reddish hues and a modest tan head.
The aroma is alive with sweet barley alts, Belgian house yeast, dark fruit, licorice, wood and liqueur.
The body is full and bold.
The taste lends itself to be on the sweeter side with a decent black licorice and roasted barley malt character. The bitterness is milder than you might expect. Considering its size it was highly drinkable but also would be very easy to go over the top. This is in a bottle but it is only available for a short time at the brewery retail center.
