From a 16oz can.... This is their base "Belgian Imperial Stout", Indulgence, aged on rum-soaked wood chips.
Poured into a sniftah, it's an opaque, dense, oily black color. Initially had a thick, 1'' layer of deep beige foam, but it ebbed back rapidly to a thin layer covering the brew. Lacing, though is very light. Has an aroma of dark choco, cocoa powder, roasty malts, and a hint of rum. Body is medium, and it has a fairly smooth feel on the tongue.
Flavor is nice, with cocoa powder, lightly bitter dark choco, semi-sweet chocolate, and some espresso. It is somewhat more semi-sweet, overall, than bitter. Finish has some subtle intimations of rum along with a bit of floral hopping. Rather nice, all in all. Prosit!!
