From a 16oz bottle purchased at White Birch about 2 weeks ago, for $15.00. Enjoying while watching the Patriots play Jacksonville....
This one is a clear, deep ruby/garnet color. Has a bit of sparse carbo, and a hard pour produced a rocky head of beige foam. It subsides rather quickly, yet has decent lacing. Aroma is a bit boozy, with some dark fruit along with a mix of bourbon and rum. Has minimal prickle making for a smooth feel, with a medium body.
Flavor? More dark fruit: raisins, dates and figs abound. Bourbon is light here, with rum notes a tad more prevalent, and there's some candi sugar action in the dry finish. Solid! Prosit!
