Growler only release. Pours a slightly hazy deep golden color with a decent sized white head that dissipates rather quickly. Smells of sweet honey like malt, light sugars, a hint of wood and spicy Belgian yeast. The oak really comes out in the flavor. Sweet light honey and sugary malt with hints of light fruit up front. The oaky wood comes in midway and tries to overpower everything, but the yeasty phenols give it a run for the money. Medium body with a light to moderate level of carbonation and a sweet mouthfeel. I’ve enjoyed the transition that the BPA has taken over the years. Oaking this adds a nice layer of complexity that I rather enjoyed.
