Pours a slightly hazy dark brown with faint garnet highlights and no measurable head whatsoever. Smells of dark and sour cherries, light brown sugar, lemons, a bit of lactic and acetic with a hint of wild musty funkiness. Light oaky bourbon with a hint of vanilla round out the nose nicely. The flavor puckers up front with sour cherries and lemons before a bit of sweet sugar slides in with some vanilla and oaky wood. A touch of alcohol peaks through before a long lingering tart fruity finish. Medium body with a light level of carbonation, and a sweet tart mouthfeel. This is a nice sour, I would have loved some more bubbles, but tasty just the same.
