From bottle no. 5 of 23. Sampled on July 12, 2013.
It is a handsome looking deep amber colored pour with a lingering off-white head that floats along the top and leaves lacing as it slowly fades away.
The nose is all about the roasted malts more so than the wheat. But there is also a vague spicy character with clove being the main ester.
The body is medium to full.
The taste is quite likable with a roasted malt sweetness, a bite of spice, and a moderately lingering finish. Sadly they only brewed enough to obtain from the brewery and once it is gone it is gone.

Bottle from the source.
Pours a lightly hazy dark amber/copper color with a decent sized off white head that slowly dissipates leaving a moderate amount of lace on the way down. Smells a bit sweet with lots of brown sugar and caramel, prunes ,plums with a fair amount of banana and a hint of clove and light spice. The flavor follows the aroma. This is a sweet malty beer with yeasty spices to counter. Dark sugars and light pitted fruits with bready yeasty banana and clove. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Great brew, I could see myself getting behind a few of these if this gets released again.
