Bottle from the Brewery.
Pours a slightly hazy medium copper color with a decent sized beige head that persists forever. Aromas of lightly sugar coated fruit. Peaches plums and pomme fruits with a candied almost syrupy aroma with a hint of earthy spice to provide a sense of balance. The flavor is a but different than the aroma hinted. Massive sweetness of maple candy up front with hints of orange and plums. A bit of sherry like oxidation and spicy peppery yeast phenols round out the flavor. Medium to thick body with a moderate to light level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. A bit on the sweet side for my liking, the abv is incredibly well hidden. Could use some more hops or oak tannin or alcohol to balance it a bit but tasty as a sipper.
