On tap at Cask and Vine for the Scottish beer dinner.
Pours a solid dark brown with a smallish off white head that shows hints of retention. Aromas of bitter fruit and a hint of higher alcohol. Flavor of brown sugar, light caramelized fruits, a bit of alcohol presence, and a light smoke. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick sweet mouthfeel. Decent beer, maybe a bit flabby and far from my favorite of the night.
