22 oz. Bomber
Pours a pretty nice very slight cloudy dark golden orange color, very nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which also leaves some sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, very nice tangerine note. The taste is malty, tangy, tangerine note. Medium body. Overall, not liking it much. Drain Pour. My first from this brewery.

FRom the bottle, it pours a burnt orange amber with a nice light tan head that slowly diminishes as you watch it. In the nose, it is a bit of citrus. In the mouth, the orange flavor is pronounced, sitting on top of the malt base. Nice!

Served in a snifter glass from the bottle.
Appearance: Transparent amber with an extra tinted orange color.
Smell: light citrus
Taste: Sweet oranges and tangerines with slight bitterness.
Mouth: Sweet finish feels like sugar on top of the oranges.
Overall: Good brew, might be one of the best orange based beers I've had, citrussy sweet.

Brownish orange amber. Bubbles abound, vast & tiny. Two fingers of creamy head, generous lacing.
Malty Vanilla smell dominating the second Citrus wave.
Creamy-smooth, bubbly- tart, malty & dry. Hops popping most lively, if the gulp is delayed an extra moment.
The boozy Blood Orange approaches slow and steady, about as subtle as a sledge hammer.
The tang and booze lingers, with the right food, creamy sauce, multi-cheese poultry, it is certainly interesting.
It is what it is. High quality elements? Indeed. Lacking something? Certainly, but what? Blood Oranges are amazing, but with a hop presence that approaches intense & Ale characteristics, this brew is lacking an anchor, an earthy counterbalance.
I know in my gut that half a pint of this stuff would be legendary with the right combination of other brew and grub.

From a bomber into a pint glass
pour is a golden orange with thin white foam that fades fast.
smell is hops and citrus with orange peel aroma
taste follows the smell well with nice bitter hops and actual blood orange flavor. I would almost classify this as more of a fruit beer but it does have nice ale characteristics about it.
overall very flavorful beer with nice drink-ability for a high ABV beer.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy deep orange/copper color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big blood orange, grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, melon, light caramel, brown sugar, and floral earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright orange juice/peel, citrus/floral hops, and light-moderate malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big blood orange, grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, melon, light caramel, brown sugar, toasted bread, and floral/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate citrus peel/floral bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of blood orange, grapefruit, lemon/orange peel, melon, brown sugar, toasted bread, and floral/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy orange juice/peel, citrus/floral hops, and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a smooth and fairly creamy/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is fairly well hidden with a small warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is a very good imperial fruit beer. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy orange juice/peel, citrus/floral hops, and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to sip on for the ABV. Wish the flavors lived up to the highly juicy and less malty aromas; but it was still very enjoyable all around.

A "blood orange beer" that actually tastes like blood oranges. I've had other blood orange and citrus inspired beers. At best, you may get a hint of citrus. But this beer straight up tastes like blood orange juice. It's definitely more of a fruit beer vs. ale as labeled on the bottle. Typically, I'm not the biggest fan of fruit beers, but I'm actually enjoying this one a bit.

Look is nice along with the head. Tons of orange aroma in this one. Taste is decent with the orange but seems to be more of an overripe taste. Carbonation should be amped up some as this beer drinks flat. Malt, bitterness and flavor balance ok, but that's about the best part of this beer. Needed more zing and less flatness. Alcohol presence showed its head throughout the whole process and I felt as if I was drinking a mixed drink instead of a beer
