500mL bottle

I never mention bitterness in my reviews, my bitterness taste buds are ridiculously under-
sensitive.

APPEARANCE : Surprising colour for a saison. Brownish-red, clear, small head that quickly dissolves into pretty much nothing, leaving almost no lacing.

SMELL : First nose is reminescent of an american pale ale. Hops are a bit sharper than in an APA. Bit more barley-sugar as well. Second nose releases more of a sugary side. Third nose just blends everything right back in and everything disappears.

TASTE : Sharp hops become almost overwhelmed by the malty profile. There's an almost sweet side to it that doesn't really agree with me.

MOUTHFEEL : Round-ish. Follows the sweetish side th tastes shows. Carbonation is fine.

OVERALL : To me, this is not a saison. Much too sweet, too malty, not sharp enough on the hops. At best, I'd call this something between an APA and an english brown ale. Pretty far off the track. Not a bad beer, very drinkable, but simply off-target by a lot. I won't buy more.

Appearance: It has a nice hazy golden/orange color to it. It has a nice off-white head that dies down moderately slow and leaves nice lacing.

Smell: The aromas definitely give out hints of Belgian yeast, bready notes, peppery spices, cloves, lemon and floral hops.

Taste: Like the aromas, it has a some Belgian yeast, some breadiness, a bit of pepper and cloves, a decent lemon/grass presence and some floral hops.

Mouthfeel: It has a low carbonation with a nice overall balance and feel.

Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied with good flavors and aromas.
