Look: Deep amber, with a two finger rocky beige head. Head disapates down to the a 1/3 finger covering in 5 minutes.
Smell: Caramel, pumpernickel toast, malt and molasses The smell could be stronger.
Taste: Raisins and prunes. Candied fruits. Malt heavy. Decent on the front end but with a strong dull medicinal aftertaste.
Feel: Thick and filling with a warm booziness.
The overwhelming back end of this beer is it's worst attribute. It drags this beer down. I give it a B
