16oz can BEST BY 02/22/26 poured into a becher glass at fridge temp, no ABV indicated on can. The beer pours bright golden straw yellow with nearly white head. The head recedes to a thin ring and single layer of bubbles. Minimal lacing. The aroma is very slight almost fruity with negligible malt or hops. The taste is semisweet pale malt with fairly pronounced diacetyl. Mildly bitter. I've never had a good lager from Sun King and this beer continues that trend.

Pours a clear straw color with a sudsy white head. The nose has a bit of floral hops, some grass, and white bread, and that is also the flavor profile, with a crisp, clean finish. Nice American lager.

Pale gold with a finger of near-white head; moderate retention and little lacing.
Mild sulfur and grain in the nose.
Sweet tasting and lightly fruity up front. Displaced my mild bitterness and minerality on the back end.
Soft feel, with soft, but distinct, gassy carbonation. Feels like it will be a belcher.
Relatively inoffensive and easy drinking. Doesn’t seem to match the dude on the can art?

A - Nice bright gold colored pour with good clarity, light carbonation, and a thin layer of white foaming sticking around on top.
S - Crisp graham crackery malt with nice earthy hops with some straw, citrus, and a little bit of spice.
T - Crackery malt base gets quickly knocked down with a wall of earthy citrus and a nice lingering bitter finish with a slight citrus residue scrubbing away and malt sweetness.
M - Medium body with prickly carbonation.
O - Very easy drinking and perfect on this warm, sunny evening. I could see myself stocking this Purdue inspired beer in the fridge if it were available in our area (and despite being an I.U. Grad., LOL!).
