64oz brewery filled growler. Clear gold with a creamy bright white head. This maintains a thin frothiness, leaving back a foamy cascade which slowly drips down the sides of the glass. The aroma smells of fresh, tart citrus and sweet doughy grains across the back. Maybe like just a touch of light floral feel gives this some airiness in the nostrils. The taste has a tart and crisp citric bite to it. Several different flavors seem to be present but lemon and lime are the two that jump out. Sugary and doughy flavor from the malt sits along the back and does a nice job of helping balance that tartness out. Dry and citric on the finish but a bit of leftover sugars hangs in there as well. The mouthfeel is light bodied and prickles the tongue a bit before giving way to a smooth foaminess along the sides and back of the feel. This was tasty. Tart yet well balanced with a super easy drinkabilty. I'm glad we grabbed a full growler of this one!

I loved this beer. This is my idea of a perfect berlinerweiss, although I'm starting to suspect I don't know what a normal true berlinerweiss is. This is very nicely tart, citrusy and drinkable. I would love to have this available all the time.
I was only in Indy on travel though, cest la'vie.

grabbed at the brewery earlier today and poured cold to a sun king shaped pint a translucent sunlight gold with a serious 2 1/2 finger white head leaving little lace.
aroma of lemon, lime, and maybe cantaloupe.
super light bodied, big tang on the first sip, dry, crisp, tart, a bit like lime-ade - in a good way.
great summer session beer.
