Winter IPA
A true winter warmer. There is just enough body and hops in this beer to take the chill off. Crystal and Chocolate malts give this beer a wonderful Ruby color and a medium to full mouth feel. Generous amounts of Simco, Citra, Cascade hops really bring this beer to life! 75 IBUs

Nice winter ale with a nice malt body and small head. The color is a red amber and has a medium mouthfeel. The hops are strong but not overly bitter. Very good Winter Ale. Can from Total Wine. 75 IBUs Rated 7-8-2022

Pint can of Everybody's Brewing Imaginary Friends Winter IPA, apparently dated 100522. Served in a pint glass. Medium orange amber, high clarity, with a nice bit of off-white foam. Faint aroma of coppery malt and crisp hops. Flavor has an astringent bitterness with lots of alpha. Label says 68 IBU. High volume, but the complexity of the flavor just isn't there. Bitterness drowns out any interesting malt body, at least to my palate. I don't love it either way, but "Winter IPA" is surely a better description than "Winter Warmer".

Clear golden rose with two fingers of off white head. Rings of lace appear as the levels drop.
Smell is toasted malt slight pine and floral.
Taste is pine floral hops with toasted malt.
Mouthfeel is medium with ample carbonation. The finish is moderately dry and lightly bitter.
Overall a tasty winter warmer. Packaged date 11/18/21.

16oz can poured into 14oz teku. Poured a lightly cloudy dark amber color with an inch-and-a-half of light tan head that quickly dissipated, and left very light lacing.
The aroma had a nice balance of malts and hops, but both were on the subdued side.
On the tongue, the base malt had more solidity, and the pine and citrus hops were brighter.
The body was solid, yet light and smooth.
Drinkability was good, I foresee a couple more cans in my near future.
Overall, a nice brew, worth a shot if you see it.

22oz bottle from Trader Joe is Salem OR
Clear hazelnut browm beer with a gorgeous thick cream coloured head.
Spice and brown sugar aromas..mix with spruce like hops. Nice.
Sweet spicy taste..for 75 IBUs you dont notice that much hopping, but they appear in the end,
Mouth feel is pretty thin but thats OK in what could be a heavy beer.
An OK beer in the mould of Full Sail Wassail and Deschutes Jubelale but not quite hitting those heights in a Winter Warmer.

Big foamy pour in the Bitburger pokal. jHugely sudsy in the mouth. Aroma of cake batter with some wintergreen. Tangy, flavor like fruitcake with some lemon peel. Malty but not overly sweet.
Interesting hops are piney and herbal plus green peppers. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. Chestnuts and lime peel. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Central Market north of Seattle.

A bomber bought at the local Costco, kudos to them for going very local. A rich, dark amber ale, with light haze. Thick, foamy head with great retention. Good aroma of roasted malts, gingerbread and dates. Taste - full of flavor and some hops come through. The bottle says 75 IBU, but that seems high to us. Good mouthfeel and clean finish. We've been impressed by these folks and their btrewpub comes recommended. We'll hustle down the 30 miles to White Salmon soon and see if we can grab this on tap with a bowl of beer cheese soup!
