on tap at the brewery, i thought this was fabulous. its got just the essence of the peach in aroma and flavor, and in the background and coming on late to both senses, but its absolutely white peach, which is cool, different from yellow peach in this, and i genuinely appreciate that nuance, very neat! the gose is somewhat complex too, with a little drying funk to it, more interesting on the fermentation side than just the lacto souring up front, its almost like its fermented, at least in part, with a rustic saison strain or something, subtle but a nice touch if intentional. i dont get any saltiness here, the peach is in front of that, and so is the medium bodied and cerealy wheat malt base. raw and simple and sort of organic to me, ever so slightly toasted and herbal, but with a lemon lime soda thing going on too, only a touch of sweetness in the fruit, keeping it from being totally covered up by the modest acidity. it doesnt look real heady in the glass, but there is plenty of carbonation as i drink it. the thing i love the most about this is the specifically white peach character. really good beer overall, but i liked everything i drank in here. nobody talks about these guys, but they are covering a lot of ground and doing it well!
