This beer pours a dark brown in color with a 2-finger foamy off-white head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is slightly bitter chocolate, roasted malts and a hint of coffee. Taste is similar to the aroma with the mild bitterness to the finish with a hint of spiciness. It is light to medium bodied and easy drinking. Not much of a Porter person but this was surprisingly good. BOD 7-23-2024 32 IBUs

I drank from Everybody's first batch of porter, and for a first batch, they either hit upon a vein of high-grade beginner's luck or else this is the start of a beautiful friendship. Everybody's Porter begins with a bold aroma of arid grains that segues to a rich malt sweetness. The flavor too, leans more towards the sweet than robust roastiness. There's no excess roast or gruff carbonized edge. Instead, the flavor balances porterish enthusiasm with judicious restraint.
This brown-with-ruby porter hints at Scotch ale maltiness with a notably rotund mouthfeel. Recommended.
