Pours a dark brown color with a medium head. Aroma is chocolate and malt and a bitterness. Taste is bitter chocolate, but not too bitter. The oats smooth out the bitterness. Northwood

Very dark brown with plenty of dark beige foam in the Hopleaf goblet. Lush and frothy mouthfeel. Tastes of bitter chocolate. Malty with a touch of sweetness. Nose of roasted malt and burnt sugar. Dry finish.
Quite bitter aftertaste along with the cocoa and red wine. Big, bold, and strong, but more interesting than the usual imperial jobs. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station.

16 Oz can. No discernable package date info
Pours a solid black/brown body with a beige head that lasts almost till the last sip. Likewise the ring lacing goes all the way down the glass. Impressive
I smelled oats at first pour. Then mostly roasted coffee. Some semi sweet chocolate notes too. Overall scent was pretty prominent
Taste is roasted coffee with a nice bitter finish.
Full and creamy feel was velvety smooth.
I'm a big fan of oatmeal stouts and this is a good one. Especially impressed with the smooth feel and the long lasting head. Would definitely have this again. Well done, Bravo !

16oz can purchased at the Rocket Market, high atop Spokane's South Hill, for approx. $5.
Poured into a snifter, this was a very dark brown, virtually black when held up to light, with a big tan head. Lots of lace.
Chocolatey and coffeeish nose, in that order.
A little more bitter tasting than I was expecting from the nose, not to an extent that makes it a deal-breaker. Quite a char upfront, coupled with the chocolatey notes noted in the aroma. Midway through, a coffee-like roastiness takes over. Mild hoppy zap at the swallow.
Full bodied, with a luscious, creamy mouthfeel.
A nice, big non-BA oatmeal stout. This would definitely be a lesser beer without the oats giving it that luscious creamy feel. I am thoroughly enjoying drinking this. Would definitely hit again.
