This beer pours a brown/amber color with minimal head. The aroma is roasted malt and light citrus hops. Taste is unusual for a Brown ale. It tastes like a cross between a Red & a Brown, interesting. Had yesterday at Northwoods

Pint at the Westside Taphouse in West Salem Oregon.
$7.00.
Pours a nice darker brown. Small beige head. Nice lace
Nose is caramel and hazelnut. Some small hops but barely discernable.
Taste very balanced, malty but not super sweet, this has some hopping but goes well with the malts.
Good mouth feel. Moderate carbonation, medium to thin body
A really well doy and drinkable brown.

On tap at the brewpub in White Salmon.
A solid but unexceptional brown ale. Clean and malty with a near even bitter-sweet balance until the mildly bitter finsh and aftertaste. Exceptional lacing.

Nicely smooth and even. Easy drinking. Good, solid example of the style.
