Clear golden amber in the chalice. Straw and bread aroma with grapefruit in the nose. Crisp mouthfeel and light body. Clean with the classic fresh hop taste. Resiny with a note of citrus. Tangy and just a little bit sharp to go with the modest malty underpinnings. A little bitterness in the aftertaste. Overall this is one of the better fresh hop brews. From the 16 oz can purchased at Town & Country market in Shoreline, Wash. Can't quite read the datge stamp but tastes quite fresh.

2022 FH version with Simcoe. 12oz can (dated 9/14/22) poured into 16oz Willi Becher. Poured a clean, clear medium gold color with 2/3 inch of white head that had good retention and light lacing.
Bright hop aroma over the top of a soft, but solid, grain base. Very similar on the tongue, with the hops being dominant, but not overwhelmingly so.
The body was medium, leaning a wee bit towards the lighter side, smooth, and had a medium finish. Drinkability was very good, a pleasant quaff for sure. Overall, a very solid and enjoyable brew. Worth grabbing if you see it.

A: Poured a nice glowing orangish golden color with a small dirty white cap that disappears and leaves minimal lacing
S: Faint. Some hints at tropical fruit and flowers
T: Bitterness first, a minimal dash of floral and fruits, light caramel, lemons are minimal, some hop oils
M: Bigger body than expected, finishes with a hop bite, taste is weak. low carbonation and heavier than I expected
O: Average
