From a 12oz caned on 06/10/2024
Murky golden looking beer with a ton of carbonation rising in the glass. 3 finger white head. Great head retention and some lacing.
This is old, but still hoppy as hell. So much lemon.
Wow, so hoppy after so long. Tons of lemon flavor from them. Nice bitterness. Some malt profile.
Bubbly body. Smooth
Wow. Delicious.

Nice pour, clear and crisp. Modest head, some lacing. Light aroma. Taste is clean, upfront light bitterness melds with a soft malt holding a hint of sweetness. Highly refreshing on a warm summer day. Just 4.5% ABV with a lot going for it.

The taste really depends on the packaging date. First sixpack I bought was packaged 6 months prior, kinda on the borderline for Pilsners. It was a very very citrusy Pilsner. Mostly lemon with a bit of orange and green apple skin. Solid mineral component. Slight gingery bitter flavor. Becomes sweeter on the aftertaste with a honey note. It’s a solid, refreshing beer. It’s just that the citrus is too dominant and it’s a bit lacking in character. It’s a great flavor profile, but would be better if it was more balanced.
The can I just had was packaged a month and a half ago. Definitely a more balanced beer. More yeast and hop flavor. Hops taste mostly like ginger and bay leaf. Yeast gives it more character and body. It’s got Czech character but it’s more refreshing than most native Czech Pilsners. Goes great with pizza. Really good beer.

Appearance: Pours a pale straw-toned body, hazy with a slim, short-lived, white head.
Smell: Meager maltiness with a sourish, acidic twang and small floral hint of honeysuckle.
Taste: Lightly malty, a very faint hint of grain, dough with a floral-hinted honeysuckle-esque sweetness. A couple drops of lemon. Minute bitterness. Still the acidic twang. Carbonation is prickly on the somewhat lifeless finish. Golden, Pilsner. I would disagree on both accounts.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-plus carbonation.
Overall: I've had some great, great beers from Fremont. This was not one of them.

It’s meh. Pours pale, greeny yellow. Not much head. Has some nice malts but they’re overshadowed by a kinda sour aftertaste, like a Miller Lite or something

Great pils, super crisp with nice floral notes. This tastes like a really, really good Miller Light. Delicious and crushable.

12oz can poured into a Fat Head's nonic pint
P clear yellow/gold with a small white head; a good amount of active carb
N med to med bold; sweet grassy notes and crackery pilsner malts; a touch of fruitiness as well
T follows nose; hearty sweet pilsner malts punctuated by grassy and earthy hops and a subtle fruitiness; light-med peppery character and herbal bitterness lingers in the fin/aftertaste; clean
Mf light-med bodied w/ high carb; crisp and satisfying
O a pleasant pilsner with huge drinkability; hitting the spot on this almost 100 degree day- went down quickly!

12oz can pkgd on 06/07/23. Served in a tall pilsner glass. Beer is straw yellow and shows lots of carbonation, forming a tall white head at the top. Flavor is actually not as crisp as I'd hope for a Czech Pils; there's even some fruitiness from the malt. It's got a biscuit sweetness, which is kind of cool, but it seems to me more reminiscent of an American lager. I do get some black pepper on the back of the palate, which is cool. Anyway it's super drinkable even if I wish it were a tiny bit more dry.

Moderate level of white head. Light golden straw color. Smooth, fragrant spiced floral hops, lightly toasted malt and a touch of yeast, for the aroma. Easy amount of classic, floral noble hops, medium light level of lightly toasted malt, with a little mineral note, for the taste.

I love the yellow golden look and it has a strong scent of hops, honey, grass, and a bit of pepper. For taste, you first get hit with the hops followed by the wheat and honey. After a bit I get the grass. Unfortunately I don’t taste the pepper as much. Overall a pretty solid beer!

Glass: Burgeon .5L pilsner glass
Price: $11.99 for a 6-pack

Purchased: Sept. 30, 2021
Consumed: Oct. 1, 2021
Misc.: Packaged on July 22, 2021 at 10:31 a.m. PT
Grabbed a 6-pack of this on a trip to Whole Foods with Rachel. Was surprised that I hadn’t had it yet. Had three while golfing earlier in the day and really enjoyed them, giving them a 4.25 on Untappd. Fremont’s website called it “For those good times with friends when you just need a "regular" unbelievably refreshing, great tasting beer! Stay golden friends. Bohemian Pilsner Malt, White Wheat, and Acidulated Malt with Czech Saaz hops.”
Poured a pale-to-medium yellow clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of rocky-to-frothy off-white head. Could see plenty of bubble streams coming up from the bottom and sides of the glass. Excellent retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled Czech Saaz, black pepper, sourdough bread, white cracker, grass, hay, lemon, earthy pilsner malt and hints of honey. Almost as good from the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Taste wasn’t quite as the good but pretty close. Not as spicy as the nose. In order got Czech Saaz, black pepper, sourdough bread, dry grass, hay, white cracker, biscuit, lemon, earthy pilsner malt and hints of honey. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Creamy-to-oily texture. Lively carbonation. Long, clean, dry finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Such a great Czech pilsner. Loved it. (Overall - 4.50)
