Tropical aroma, smooth taste due to oats. Slightly bitter with a nice hop taste. Medium body. One of the better NEIPA's. Rated 9-16-2020

Canned 8/24 and enjoyed on 10/18 - just under the 60 day lifespan, according to them. Light head, straw colored pour. Very light aroma. Dry taste, hops and more hops. There's quite the malt bill on the web site for this version, but little evidence in the taste. The oats are probably resposible for a smooth mouthful and some light sweetness.

Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice cloudy pale yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, pineapple, mango, peach, melon, nectarine), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is pretty nice hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, mango, pineapple, peach, melon, nectarine), pretty nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty brew. Orange Julius! Addictive! MilkShake!

Clear yellow brew but with teensy things, apparently in suspension, not like the dreaded clots of "floaties." But lots of foam in the Affligem chalice. So this is the Simcoe throw-down-- it really is a fruity and delicious hop. Huge aroma. of apricot and pineapple. Fremont has given us a big dose in different forms but it doesn't seem like too much of a good thing. I was reading about its low cohumulone content, which is supposed to impart a gentler kind of bitterness.
Tastes of green grapes, tangy papaya, a lime peel finish. Moderate bitterness. This is a very friendly sort of NE brew, though the acidity seems to increase as you sip. Creamy carbonation is a plus. From the 16 oz can dated 08/26/20 on the bottom.

L: Hazy tangerine with a nitro-dense ivory head, fast fading to a full-coverage but thin cap and ring. Thin irregular lace lines on the glass.
S: This is ferociously the aroma of dried pineapple. Nearly exactly except for the faintest notes of rice flour and grapefruit.
T: Not as sweet as the dried fruit fortunately. More floral on the nose and palate as it warms.
F: I like the medium to light mouthfeel. It’s between juicy and creamy. Like a Hawaiian dessert, but still a little dry. Carbonation is slightly below average but sits in there nicely.
O: This one takes a couple days/try’s to judge fairly. At first it was raking low on my HFoD scale, but it’s since grown on me a bit.

heck of an expression of simcoe here, cool beer, less hazy looking and heavy than many of the others i have had. seems like these are coming more fast and furious than ever, no complaints from me! this is less grapefruit and obvious pine and bitter than simcoe often is to me, i might not have even picked it as that to be honest, maybe the cryo and the early onset that it brings, maybe the slight woodiness that runs though this, maybe the sappy, fresher than fresh dankness it has, all of it really is a great showcase of the hop, but also shows it in its best possible light, which is why its uncommon tasting, so much more to this hop than often gets realized, i am impressed! hints of papaya and mango, more tropical than ever, and some leafy greenness, definitely smells like a heady bag, and i think the texture is oily without being too rich or indulgent, no real linger to this, everything about it is right. another winner in this series, hard not to be impressed and stoked, especially for simcoe in this context. fremont just continues to blow me away in this series...

Fairly fresh 16oz can poured into a nonic; pours a lightly-hazed straw color with decent white head retention; leans more old-school with impressions of lemon, resiny/dank hops, and a crackery malt profile. The palate is in line with that, this brew is more floral and even a bit herbal with impressions of orange and tropical fruit. Not my favorite HfoD offering to date, leans a little more West-Coast-y (though it isn't terribly bitter) with the Simcoe infusion. Still, refreshing and well-executed.

This version of head full of dynomite pours a hazy dark yellow color capped with a sudsy, short lasting head. The aroma is a combination of lemon, floral, with some tropical notes and spices. The taste follows the nose in many ways with lemon, melons, spices and herbal notes. Moderate sweetness and lightly bitter with a medium to light body and carbonation. The mouthfeel is a bit resinous and dry. It's refreshing, clean and easy drinking. As expected this another solid brew in the head full of dynomite series from Fremont.

16oz can served in a wine glass because that's the only clear glass available in this house. Dated 08/26/20. Bought it at Malt and Vine a couple days ago.
Pours a hazy orange-golden with a big fluffy head and lots of fine carbonation. Head sticks around for a while. Smell is hop resin and tropical juice, citrus.
Taste right along the same lines -- resin is noticeable but not in-your-face, actually nicely balanced. Builds up a pleasant bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel is medium, dry, effervescent. Overall, I like it a lot. Not that I'm surprised. I've liked every one in the series that I've tried.
