16oz can from Woodland Bottle Shop. Golden, hazy pour with a lasting, frothy head. Aroma is citrus, hoppy, earthy, melon. Taste is tropical fruit, melon, mildly dry, slow buzzing bitterness. Almost thick, smooth.

Fremont brewing miscellaneous at local grocers. HFOD is an ongoing series with new iterations every 6 weeks. This is the most current, version 24. Always hop heavy and citrified.
L: Clear white foam head with moderate bubbling. pretty opaque straw color, light orangish. Head retained for about a minute.
S: Juicy papaya and pineapple cake. Rainforest, wet overtones. Blended smoothly together. Moderate-high sweetness.
T: Pineapple juice followed by mango/silky coconut puree. Acidic at forefront but balanced out by oaty-smooth malts. Highly bitter but not puckering. Tropical.
F: Obviously bitter but surprisingly smooth. The oat malt holds everything together, including the acidity of the fruit. Carbonated well, with an evolving bite.

16 oz. Can
PKG: 11/13/20
Poured into a Tree House glass a very nice cloudy pale yellow color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, peach, papaya, cataloupe), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is very nice hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, peach, papaya, cataloupe), pretty nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty brew. Orange Julius! Addictive! MilkShake! Nice to see it around here.

16oz canned mid-November and poured into an IPA nonic.
A: Medium-hazed soft pale with a fluffy white head and good lace.
S: Lemon-lime, grassy, resinous pine with a crackery malt profile.
T: Floral, piney hops with that same lemon-lime zest and a mild grapefruit tone; resinous; crackery pale malt.
MF: Soft, medium-light mouthfeel; moderate bitterness and dryness.
O: I think it’s well-executed but not my favorite profile.

S-tropical citrus and pine
T-grapefruit and papaya. Above average sweet, above average bitter.
M-Medium-Full body, below average carbonation. Finishes dry. Grainbill gives a really nice body.
O-Well above average hazy. I wish it was a regular release here.

Love the artwork on this series; this is one of the better examples. Canned on 11/19. Light golden, hazy pour with foamy head, light aroma. Dry taste, nice mouthfeel with piney hop flavor and plenty of depth. Good exampls of a solidly-crafted PNWIPA.

another dead on banger in this series, i was stoked to learn its featuring sorachi ace hops, post buy but pre drink, lucky me! cool art on these, whoever has been doing them. this is a cool beer, odd in some ways, and a weird expression of sorachi ace with the much more intense idaho 7 profile in here and the sturdy higher alpha centennial, but they do come together well. one thing about it is that it tastes almost warm, a strange observation i know, the beer in my glass is positively temperature cold, but the flavor somehow seems like impossible to chill, if that makes sense, soft in that way, cozy even, weird to say about an ipa without much maltiness to it, but here we are, a bizarre but very likable feature. the head doesnt last a real long time on this, but the flavor sure pops, and almost orange soda nose turns into crisper citrus in the taste, lime leaf and lemongrass accents too, coconut, spruce, marmalade, some light hop burn and bitterness, not in the overdone sense though, in the sense like its still green, almost too fresh, it lingers awhile on the center of the tongue. also this seems somewhat more alcoholic than the others have, not that it is, but whats here can be tasted and felt quite nakedly, i reckon anyway. fuller thicker feel, but its almost necessary for the hops, but as such could use a little more carbonation to pick it up. less of the herbal character of the sorachi ace i know, no dill or anything firing here, but its not hurting for hop complexity. amazing series, another fine iteration here, i try not to miss any of them...

Poured from a 16 ounce can into a tulip glass.
Look- Medium gold, very hazy, small particulate sediment, sudsy white head, below average head retention and lacing.
Smell- Orange, melon, grassy.
Taste- Melon, very earthy.
Feel- Full body, below average carbonation, soft, creamy, low bitterness, astringent lingering earthy finish.
Overall- I love this series of beers, but this was not one of my favorites.

What I love about the head full of dynamite series is that no two are the same. Each one of them are unique and different. This one pours an opaque light orange color with a foamy head. Fairly low retention on the head with very little lacing. Aroma is pleasantly tropical and sweet with notes of papaya, melon and some pine.
Taste is a delicious combination of various hops and bready malts with notes of melon and pine. Subtly sweet with a moderate bitterness. The malts are more prominent in this one compared to others in the series.
Medium body and carbonation with a slick and smooth mouthfeel. Goes down very easily. This is another unique and solid beer in the head full of dynamite series from Fremont, by far my favorite Seattle brewing company.

16oz can served in a big snifter. Bought it at the brewery yesterday. Can is dated 11/13/20.
Pours a somewhat thin pale hazy yellow, initially a medium sized head, dissipates to a pretty modest cap with a little lacing clinging to the glass. Smell is pineapple, tropical juice, a little citrus zest.
Taste is similar, but with a more pronounced grainy malt profile and a strong citrus zest/pith bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium and very dry. Overall, nice beer.
