32oz crowler served in a big snifter. Bought it on the 25th at the brewery. Label says it was filled on the 24th.
Pours super hazy whitish-yellow-amber with a huge fluffy head. Head collapses to a thick, chunky ring and a thin layer with a moderate amount of fluff clinging to the side of the glass. Plenty of active carbonation. Smell is primarily citrus pith and tropical fruit. Fairly muted, but nice.
Taste is interesting. The rye grainy spice is there but overpowered by the tropical juice, adds just a bit to a bite in the aftertaste. Plenty of pithiness, pithy-zesty bitterness dominates the aftertaste with that rye accent.
Mouthfeel is light and fluffy, really pleasant. Overall, it's good and it's interesting.
