32oz crowler served in a Hofbrauhaus liter-sized dimpled stein glass. Crowler has been sitting in my fridge longer than I would have liked -- it was filled 10/3. Let's see how it is...
Pours a clear dark amber with a huge fluffy head that collapses slowly into a lively marshland. Smell is nutty, a hint of coffee/chocolate roast. Moderate lager yeast.
Taste is an interesting mixture of almost roasty bitterness and rich, nutty, bready malty sweetness.
Mouthfeel is medium, maybe leaning toward heavy. Overall, this is a nice beer, and there are few signs of wear from being in a crowler for 18 days.
