Poured from a 16 ounce can into a tulip glass.

Look- Pale gold, frothy white head, visible particulate, very hazy, average head retention and lacing.

Smell- Melon, grassy.

Taste- Melon, clementine, white grape, slightly spicy.

Feel- Medium body, low bitterness, slightly below average carbonation, zero astringency, moderately mouth watering finish, mildly creamy.

Overall- I had almost given up on this series, but family/friends know I have had most versions so they keep buying them for me. I was pleasantly surprised by this version. Great look, nice bouquet and flavor, zero astringency, which has plagued this beer lately. It reminded me why I used to seek out earlier versions. I hope this is a sign of things to come.

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Orange golden hazy body, light foamy head. Faint citrusy aroma, oranges. Taste is subdued citrus, orange peel with light floral notes. Light all around except for body, could use just a little more orange.

16oz can served in a big snifter. Dated 03/01/22. Bought it at the brewery today.

Big, fluffy, stiff head, opaque pale golden color. Lots of fine, slow active carbonation. Smell is melon rind, citrus pith, vague juiciness. Resinous.

Taste is leaning toward very ripe honeydew, a little bubble gum. More vague juiciness.

Mouthfeel is soft and fluffy. Overall, it's pretty good, but not the height of HFoD.

another delicious hazy in this series, feel like these have been coming fast and furious of late, always cool to find them on draft, and i enjoyed this a lot. that said, its not as distinct as the best beers in the series, doesnt really teach me anything about any new varietals or anything, and really doesnt bring any new hop synergies to the table, in fact i feel like the simcoe tramples over the others a little bit, this is more northwestern and woodsy than anticipated with the galaxy and the nelson also in the mix, but no denying its fresh, well made, a little lighter in body than some other recent ones, and very good overall. i get bitter grapefruit in the nose, juniper too, and then pineapple and lime leaf behind that, a touch green but not bitter to me, and with an herbal freshness, a clean enough ferment, and very little from the dry cereal malt. the flavor is simcoe forward for sure, a little danky resinous thing to it, intense up front citrus, more pine and botanicals on the back end, i get more from the other varietals later on as it warms, but it remains not exactly balanced between them all. a hint of coconut and orange juice in the aftertaste, again simple on the malt side, and nice and fizzy from the tap. solid brew here, but not one of the more memorable in this impressive series, more a compliment to how great and unique the others have been than a knock against this one...

Canned March 1st. Light amber and hazy, not a murkbomb. Nice frothy head, nose is tropical fruit, maybe some grapefruit and orange peel. Tasty. Moderate bitterness, good hop flavor with long finish. Moderate ABV of 6.8% makes it very easy to enjoy a couple of these in the course of the evening. Our reviews of the series is hit-or-miss, but we think it's one of the better.

16oz can poured into a pub nonic; bright golden haze with significant head and lacing. Ripe melon and generic tropical fruit dominate the nose and palate with that signature grainy undertone and mild wheat presence. Mild notes of tangerine and stone fruit. Very tasty, with more of a hoppy 'pop' than I'm used to in this series. Tastes fresh and unique.

16 oz. Can
PKGD: 03/01/22

Poured into a Tree House glass a very nice cloudy pale yellow/orange color, pretty nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, peach, papaya, nectarine, apricot, melon), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is very nice hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, peach, papaya, nectarine, apricot, melon), very nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty beer. Orange Julius! Addictive! MilkShake!
